Course Background This ISO 17799 ISMS awareness aims to provide management and end-users some key aspects of ISO 17799 Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Participants Operations and IT managers responsible for implementing ISMS and/or willing to have a better understanding of the course ISO 17799 - Part 2:2002.

Objectives

Upon completion of the Workshop, participants should be able to :

  • Appreciate the importance of ISO 17799 in today’s increasingly digital and networked business world.
  • Have a grasp of what is a ISMS, its components, documentation and requirements
  • Have a general understanding of ISO 17799 and ISO 17799 controls.
