Objectives |
The first one, called AFFINITY DIAGRAM, is aimed at answering the question “WHAT?”: “What are the difficulties/problems we are facing in such given situation?” It creates a common understanding of a complex situation within a management team and, therefore, facilitates decision-making on factual data. The second one, called TREE DIAGRAM, is most effective when used to generate detailed action plans totally in line with the findings of the AFFINITY DIAGRAM: “How to improve a given situation or product, how to create a marketing plan, etc.” |
