| Work Design | More than 50% group work. A combination of group and individual work with the practical application of knowledge gained during the workshop. |
| Objectives | The objective is to equip delegates with the knowledge and skills required to perform audits of quality management systems against ISO 9001:2000 in accordance with ISO 19011. The course fulfils the training requirements for certification as an IRCA and/or IATCA quality management systems auditor. Upon completion of this Course, delegates will be able to:

Delegates are expected to have, prior to commencement of the course, a comprehensive understanding of the content, application and implementation of the ISO 9000 series of Standards. |
| Assessment | Delegates will be graded on the basis of a continuous assessment and a written examination. |
| Award | Delegates who pass both the examination and continuous assessment will be issued with a “Certificate of Successful Completion” that satisfies the formal training requirements for IRCA/IATCA auditor/lead auditor. |
| Duration | 45 training hours spread over five consecutive days. Please note that the course is intensive. You may be required to complete homework. |
