SGS Mauritius now has local technical expertise in tank calibration services, using the LASER methodology, providing you with the most accurate data. Our personnel have been fully trained in Singapore and are conversant with all safety rules and conditions pertaining to specific environment.

Why do we need to have tanks calibrated?

1. To know exact volume in stock at each unit level (mm).
2. To confirm that volume delivered is exactly equal to volume discharged from tank for reconciliation / custody transfer.
3. To know if tank presents deformation in its structure (shells / bottom) and tilt.
4. Tank shells have a tendency to pig with time and bottom survey would detect any such deformation.
5. Calibration tables delivered giving volume with respect to specificity of each product, based on its density (floor volume / volume at each interval / critical level).
